In the solar mounting system, we need to use the solar clamps to fix panels on the rails.

The choice of solar clamps should be based on the types of panels. Or in other way to say, it will depend on the thickness of the panels.

Solar panels are mainly divided into three types：

1. Framed solar panel:  with aluminum alloy frame, thickness 30 ~ 60mm.

Applicable clamps:

These mid clamps and end clamps are widely used.

2. Frameless solar panel: no aluminum alloy frame, thickness 5 ~ 8mm.

Applicable clamps:

3. Frameless solar panel: can be folded, flexible, thickness 2-3mm.

This type of panels can be sticked to surface directly.
